Bangkok, Thailand – October 9th 2025 – WAYLAR, a leading Thai mobility solutions provider, and SWITCH ZEV, a provider of EV battery swap systems, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to collaborate on the launch and deployment of 5,000 electric motorcycles across Thailand.
The signing ceremony took place in Bangkok and was attended by senior executives from both organizations,The agreement marks a significant milestone in advancing Thailand’s transition toward sustainable and zero-emission mobility.
Under the terms of the MOU, WAYLAR and SWITCH ZEV will jointly oversee the production, deployment, and operation of SWITCH’s latest generation of electric motorcycles, purpose-built to meet the needs of Thailand’s urban commuters, logistics providers, and delivery operators. The collaboration directly supports Thailand’s 30@30 policy, which targets 30 percent of all vehicles produced in the country to be electric by 2030.

The initial rollout will focus on major metropolitan areas, including Bangkok, Chiang Mai, and Phuket, supported by a robust charging and battery-swapping infrastructure network. Future phases will expand to additional regions and integrate smart mobility systems designed to optimize efficiency, cost savings, and environmental performance.
