Bangkok, Thailand – October 29, 2025 – The Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) of Thailand held a formal meeting with SWITCH Universal Co., Ltd., a leading innovator in electric mobility solutions, to discuss potential collaboration on advancing battery swap electric motorcycle infrastructure across Thailand.

The meeting took place at SWITCH Universal office in Bangkok and featured a detailed presentation by SWITCH Universal on its cutting-edge battery swapping technology, designed to enhance convenience and reduce downtime for electric motorcycle users. Representatives from both organizations explored avenues for strategic cooperation, focusing on expanding Thailand’s electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem and supporting the government’s clean energy transition goals.
PEA executives emphasized the organization’s commitment to supporting Thailand’s EV roadmap, which includes the promotion of smart charging networks, renewable energy integration, and sustainable urban mobility solutions. SWITCH Universal presented its modular battery swapping stations and digital management system, highlighting their potential to significantly accelerate EV adoption among urban commuters and delivery fleets.
Both parties agreed on the importance of public–private partnerships in developing a nationwide charging and swapping network. The discussion also included pilot project proposals, potential sites for deployment, and collaboration on technical standards and safety regulations for EV battery systems.
